Hey, how-are-ya, Roguelings!? 

It's been a crazy few weeks with holidays, being sick, flash flood warnings, my 20-year anniversary with Dennis, his 40th birthday, New Year's, and other holiday shenanigans. AND, I'm heading into my 42nd year around the sun. Through all that, I've been doing a few bookish things, like WRITING. And reading. And I've been nursing a foot injury for a month now, which isn't fun. So, no nature walks for me, which makes me sad and aggravated. So, I'm treating myself to hair cut today. 🤗

I want you all to know that I appreciate each of you. And I don't say that flippantly. I really, truly am grateful for you, and you've been on my mind for weeks. Life gets busy, and I feel like I've been MIA and haven't been posting any goodies for you, but I'm here. And the insider goodies are coming. 

Thank you for being part of my bookish world, following my alter ego, Scarlet, for supporting me on my author journey, and for hanging out in my little corner of the interwebs. It means a lot to me.

I hope you all were safe, warm, and had a happy New Year! And I'm putting good vibes out into the world that 2026 will be brighter for us, even amid the gloom.
