​I had a brain fart and issues processing this month, apparently. Since we had one obvious winner and I completely missed it and announced the runner-up, we have two book options this month! Ha! I have the paperback of both, so I am reading them both. You can read along in our Fable book club and/or right here in my Rogue Reader Community (commenting on this post) if you like. I'm starting with Empire of Shadows because it's longer.

I have no idea why this song is on my Borne of Salt and Sea playlist, but it is. It definitely doesn't have "Jane Austen" or "Castaway" vibes (Ha!) but it fits somehow all the same.Â
