I have no idea why this song is on my Borne of Salt and Sea playlist, but it is. It definitely doesn't have "Jane Austen" or "Castaway" vibes (Ha!) but it fits somehow all the same.

Happy Monday Morning, folks! I'm making this week my you-know-what, and I'm determined enjoy the sunshine (the weather here is finally warming up). I'll be doing a lot of writing and putting the hiccups of the past few weeks behind me. I'm excited to get into a revisions groove this week and immerse myself in my Jane Austen meets Castaway story in the Ruined Lands/Forgotten Lands world, Borne of Salt and Sea.

This weekend was a nice reset, which apparently, I needed. The hubs and I hit some tennis balls (very horribly, I might add), and Sunday I was a lazy lima bean and binge watched The Leopard (an Italian period drama) while the hubs made me an amazing tri-tip dinner. Also, my freesias are blooming and they are my favorite!!!!
I hope you all have something to smile about today. Life is flying by, and I'm determined to enjoy it this year. <3
